Faye Stewart joined Nicol of Skene in mid-September 2022, bringing a diverse background to her role as a Quantity Surveyor. With a passion for fitness, Faye enjoys a variety of activities, including walking, running, swimming, yoga, hitting the gym, and cycling - truly embracing an active lifestyle.
Faye's professional experience is equally diverse. She began her career in construction, working with Mechanical & Electrical firms while pursuing her Quantity Surveyor qualification part-time. She then transitioned to similar commercial roles within the Oil & Gas industry after an economic downturn, eventually finding her niche in Civils, where she spent around eight years working with companies like Chap Civils and PJ Carey’s.
At Nicol of Skene, Faye serves as a Quantity Surveyor, stationed at the Westhill Head Office. In this role, she collaborates with Kris Bond and the Commercial Team to ensure fair and timely payment for the services provided.
Excited about her role at Nicol of Skene, Faye looks forward to gaining a deeper understanding of the company's diverse services, with a particular interest in utilities and directional drilling.
In a fun and rebellious twist, Faye shared that during her younger years, she had a penchant for piercings. In fact, she even managed to get her first tattoo at the age of 17, albeit with the help of a fake ID. Her parents may not have been too thrilled about it, but it certainly adds a touch of intrigue to her story.
