Nicol of Skene recently held its annual company presentation day, bringing together employees to discuss the company's performance over the past year and outline future goals, with a specific emphasis on Health and Safety. The event also celebrated the significant lengths of service of employees, including Neil Wright (15 years), Shannon Stephen (10 years), Steven Fleming (10 years), and Mike Coutts (10 years).
The day's festivities included a delightful Turkey Christmas Lunch and Sticky Toffee Pudding catered by the Holiday Inn West, enjoyed by all attendees. A significant highlight was the inaugural Nicol of Skene Employee Awards Ceremony, featuring categories such as Wellbeing, Mentor of the Year, Rising Star, Five Star Customer Service, Consider It Done, and Blooper of the Year. The deserving winners were Duncan Grant, Tom Simmers, Dan Glennie, Lana Howitt, Keith Burnett, and Walter Hardie, respectively.
The event also marked the retirement of Ian Moir, with the team bidding him a fond farewell. The day was a resounding success, providing an excellent opportunity for the entire team to come together, celebrate achievements, and reflect on a remarkable year.
