We are thrilled to announce that Brooke and Mollie have successfully completed their Business & Administration Modern Apprenticeships at SCQF Level 6.
Brooke and Mollie joined us in June 2023 and were given a taster of each area of the business by rotating through various departments every 12 weeks, including Finance, Reception, QHSE, Commercial/Estimating, Stores, HR, the Multi-Utility Division, and the Civil Division. Under the guidance of experienced mentors in each area, they gained valuable insight and hands-on experience across all areas of the business.
This taster approach gave them both a broad understanding of how Nicol of Skene operates while allowing them to develop essential professional skills. It also enabled us as a company to identify their individual strengths and align them with roles that will support and bolster our administration function moving forward.
Their hard work, dedication, and growth have set them up for continued success. Transitioning from apprentices to valued team members, Brooke and Mollie are now ready to take on new challenges and contribute meaningfully to the future of Nicol of Skene.
Completing an apprenticeship is about more than just learning technical skills—it’s about personal growth, adaptability, and building the confidence to embrace new opportunities. Brooke and Mollie have done just that, and we are incredibly proud of how far they’ve come.
