Nicol of Skene is currently delivering the groundworks, infrastructure, and plotwork's for a new 17-unit CALA Affordable Homes development at Raemoir Road, Banchory. The civil engineering works began in April 2026 and are scheduled to reach completion by the end of the year.
The on-site team has successfully installed the sewers and foundations, with works now moving onto the concrete floor installations. The Banchory site also marks the first official project for Nicol of Skene’s new JCB 245X machine, which is equipped with an Engcon tiltrotator and Trimble GPS to assist with the works.
Supply partners for the development include JKR Quarries for sand and Leiths for concrete, with Type 1 and gravel supplied directly from our own quarry.
