We recently successfully delivered a Temporary Trackway Solution across an area of exceptionally deep peat in the Caithness region ofScotland, enabling geophysical surveys at two HDD locations for a forthcoming major infrastructure project. This work forms part of our ongoing strategic involvement in long-term projects across Scotland for key repeat clients.
Following receipt of the enquiry, our team responded rapidly, with the trackway scope fully planned and mobilised within one week. Leveraging our strategically located depots in Inverness and Westhill, Aberdeen, we efficiently deployed resources and personnel to site. Over a two-week period, our specialist trackway team installed more than 550 mats across highly challenging terrain.
The use of our Xtreme matting system proved highly effective in mitigating the risks associated with deep peat conditions, providing a stable working platform that allowed the vertical drilling rig to operate without restriction. Performance on site further demonstrated the robustness and suitability of our trackway solutions for complex ground conditions commonly encountered on Scottish infrastructure projects.
We are extremely proud of the significant investment we have made in our trackway matting capability. This division continues to grow rapidly and has become an increasingly valuable and in-demand part of our business, supporting long-term customer relationships and our strategic delivery across Scotland.
